Curriculum

CURRICULUM REQUIREMENTS

DIS offers students with a wide range of academic courses that will provide the appropriate development of student’s talents. With experienced instructors and staff at DIS, students will be ensured to fulfill the minimum curriculum requirements for graduation form DIS with full care and support. Our curriculum consists of advanced and challenging material at every level, including AP and SAT 2 levels.

Any students with a question regarding graduation requirement should seek help from an advisor or administrator. 

To earn the diploma issued by DIS, students will complete courses totaling a minimum of 24 credits with 8 semesters of high school in various fields of study. Transfer students must earn a minimum of 12 credits at our school attending 11th and 12th grade at DIS.

Successful completion of each class for the entire school year will award the students with 1 credits.

This means the student has attained:

  • minimum 120 hours of class

  • minimum letter grade of ‘D’ or better

  • No class and academic violation in general.

HONOR ROLL

Students with outstanding and excellent achievement in academic results are encouraged

by honor rolls twice a year using 1st semester and 2nd semester grades that are recorded on DIS report cards.  

  • Principal’s List: students with 4.0 GPA

  • High honor Roll: students with equal or higher GPA than 3.8
